Meditation and Mindfulness

Meditation is a practice where an individual uses a technique – such as mindfulness or focusing the mind on a particular object, thought, or activity – to train attention and awareness, and achieve a mentally clear and emotionally calm and stable state.

How to Meditate:

  1. Find a quiet and comfortable place to sit.
  2. Cross your legs and sit with a straight back.
  3. Close your eyes and take deep, slow breaths.
  4. Focus your attention on your breath or a chosen object.
  5. When your mind wanders, gently bring your focus back.
  6. Continue for your desired duration.
